Core Principle: Your Data Stays Local

ConnectLnx is a local file transfer tool. By design, it does not use a central server or cloud storage to intermediate your transfers. All file data is sent directly from the sender's device to the receiver's device over your local network.

No Account Required

We do not require you to create an account, provide an email address, or link any social media profiles to use ConnectLnx. The application works completely anonymously.

No Tracking or Analytics

ConnectLnx does not include any tracking scripts, advertising SDKs, or telemetry software. We do not collect information about your transfer volume, file types, or device hardware.

Permissions

On Android, the app requests storage access to read the files you wish to send and to save the files you receive. On all platforms, it requires network access to discover peers and transfer data across the LAN. These permissions are used exclusively for core functionality.

Changes to this Policy

Since ConnectLnx is a free tool, any changes to how the software handles data will be reflected in our official documentation and this policy. If we ever add features that require remote connectivity (e.g., cloud backup), we will update this policy and provide a notification within the app.
